Sometimes I do find all the naysayers on this board are funny. But they do need some commonsense.
First, if Merck did help produce covid-19 vaccine, Merck would use available facility to produce it instead of building a new facility from scratch.
Second, J&J vaccine was banned in the US. But the facility building has been going on.
Third, Merck's job was about producing, no need to have massive hiring on R&D.
That's should be enough for you to digest.
