One would think this reduction of shares to borrow would raise the borrowing rate, but that’s not happening.

Gary seems like he is content getting interest by loaning out his shares until he senses it’s time to pull them all back (perhaps when good news flows in).

Net, net, what DanishDude is uncovering seems to be, (I could be completely wrong), a temporary truce to let shorts cover before time runs out?
