Now that the betting is legalized all the underworld types concentrate on the cheating, shaving of points and officials "discretionary calls". This holds same as always in all governments actions, contracts, zoning and other opportunities
to benefit the connected, powerful and corrupt. In the Court and law enforcement systems there is much corruption. National lawyers call this getting "home towned".
In Wall Street some might say it has reached a cressendo. The 2008 bail out of the Banks under the vail of "To Big to Fail" left the bad actors in charge of the mechinations of the economy of the USA and much of the world so they will continue to milk parasitic profits to benefit only the very few making them trillions to further cement control of many aspects of society.
