Very astute observation. As we approach the AI revolution the deep digs of verification (the narrow way) is going to be abandoned for the “AI gatekeeper” (the wide way) because of ease. This is just another opportunity for information control and distribution to be implemented over time so that opinion becomes formed on directed or allowable “truth”. Initially the info is gathered from all sources with wide open flow. Over time a gatekeeper restricts what comes in and goes out to gain control.
Just as main stream media changed from reporting the news to creating entertainment and backing political platforms and viewpoints to create bias, so too will those who “go with the flow” without critical thinking and followup be led into the agendas of others. Knowing this requires seeing how anything might be used for good or for evil intent and that requires the wisdom you speak of. Even Henry Kissinger felt strongly enough about this to warn before his recent passing. As scripture states, the beginning of wisdom starts with the fear (deep reverence) of the Lord.
We have all seen a microcosm in the battle here on this board for many years. Fortunately there are those willing to defend against the never ending disinformation that comes with this type of disruptive technology rising up into the realm of reality of a new day. Best wishes.
