I feel sorry for those professionals. They are supposed to be very smart. The publication will tarnish their reputation eventually and even bring stigma to their professional life. Well, Neil Armstrong went to Congress testifying against SpaceX. So you never know what those people are really thinking. I ever wonder if they went through all the presentations on DCVAX-L, the Nature preprint, even the whole package of the JAMA paper.
