Woof. Some very fair criticism, but also from this article:

Because of a crossover design, they couldn't really use the original placebo arm so they had to use "external controls", which basically means they could make up whatever they wanted

Talk about a complete and utter lack of understanding of ECA's and data. Make up whatever they wanted? This is just blatant and intentional misinformation.
