It’s a common fallacy in investors to assume that everyone must invest the same way. Paying attention to the same stuff. There are good day traders, and they pay attention to wildly different things than the guys who are successful at long term buy and hold. Even within a given time horizon there are many things that matter - some care only about 3 yrs from now, others care that it has downside protection in the interim. Etc
