So logic dictates they would have chosen a date associated with a fixed once-a-month deadline, otherwise why not give themselves to the deadline after that, and if they already selected and provided a future date of anticipated submission to the MHRA before the August 29 PR, we can somewhat safely assume they selected September 25. Which would mean we’re waiting on MHRA to accept/validate, and normally that should have been completed by October 9, and four business days from October 9 is today, assuming MHRA got it done back on October 9. So the premise goes anyway.

Maybe. But why wait the extra four business days, unless they didn’t wait and MHRA is simply a little slow, because, as Marty said, MHRA is short staffed again. Or, maybe, they did wait the four days to tell us the clock started at zero four days ago, making the next chm dates of December 21/22 a little closer to two months from next pr.

Or, again, maybe MHRA is just slow, and they need a bit more time.

I dunno.

Or perhaps they didn’t select September 25 as their anticipated dossier submission date,
and gave a later date so the MHRA would have more time to validate before the next monthly chm schedule deadline for dossiers.

Maybe it all comes down to whether they would like approval before or after the end of the year.

Could they handle an approval in this calendar year?
