If one is following the DOW the points up/down are more IMPRESSIVE and informative for the daily viewers. On the news they will lead with the DOW dropped 300 points today and act like it's HUGE when percentage-wise it isn't. People want to know how many points either way...percentage is for those that aren't aware nor care what the base is/was...

Put them both up there (points on top of percentage), slightly smaller font size than current display, JMO, thanks...
