NWBO knew they were toast when Dr. Liau did he interim data publication. They had access to all the PFS results and they were all the same so they knew the the trial was a failure. So they scrambled to redesign the protocol to try to salvage the trial.

Nobody redoes the whole trial after the trial is virtually done. Ridiculous. FDA Guidance requires ECA to be designe BEFORE the trial begins. They aren't going to buy this highly flawed trial.
