Having a house in Florida, your tropical storm doesn't seem like a big deal...lol Like you stated, your biggest problem will be flooding and mudslides.

We went to Malibu California two years ago for New Years and it had rained for 5 days and I've never been so scared in my life driving down the Pacific Highway there was literally mudslides and boulders just falling on top of the highway.

We got lucky last year as Hurricane Ian moved South, and we were spared. The poor folks in Naples got destroyed.

Luckily, we don't go down until December through March, which is out of hurricane season. We were happy to see no property damage.
