True. And kids are micro-managed from the day they're born, through schools giving them too much meaningless work, no autonomy, without teaching them to learn how to learn. Tested, graded, ranked so that everyone can see they're not perfect.
Then suddenly they're adults with completely different expectations thrust upon them. Now they have to be collaborative and "independent thinkers" after years of memorizing for tests and trying to outscore their classmates.
...I feel sorry for kids today, and the pressure they must feel to excel....
