Everyone wants a partnership.

The timing is not optimal. Some considerations: AVXL should have some additional partnership leverage for 2-73 in AD after reporting out a successful Rett trial demonstrating probable regulatory approval and commercial likelihood in a first indication. Second, the timing is not optimal because AVXL has still not reported out full data from the AD trial and the Street has not bought into the idea that AVXL can get approval in AD. AVXL simply doesn't have leverage to use in partnership negotiations. Finally, the stock price has slipped so much that any stock price gains from a partnership would be diminished at present. In summary, AVXL is under no pressure to partner at the present time. Later is better in in my opinion.
