The electric car was invented in 1832. It became practical in 1870. The oil industry and car companies, along with the military, industrial and legislative complex suppressed electric car development and full commercialization until the last decade. Less than 10 years ago, HappyLibrarian told me the electric cars were not going to takeover the industry in short order.

Immunotherapy for cancer treatment was invented well over a century ago, it has faced similar suppression from multiple special interests over the decades, including but not limited to the chemotherapy industry that sprung out of WWII. The AMA, FDA and multiple regulators around the globe fell in love with quick profit but immune destroying chemo therapies. Even Dr. Pazdur was “Dr. No” on immunotherapy treatment until about the time a family member, diagnosed with a “terminal” cancer, faced the hopelessness from the incompetent and corrupt cancer treatment system.
