Drill ship “Hidden Gem” is still at anchor, hell maybe abandoned, where it has sat at anchor for over 10 months off the coast of Manzanillo, Mexico. Who leaves a vessel anchored for 10 months ? It’s expensive too and also not very good for the vessel and the equipment machinery on and within the vessel.

One seriously doubts the correlation


This appears to be a scam using an old rusting away ship that isn’t likely to move anytime soon. I would bet money more likely than not the ship gets seized by the Mexican government, in my opinion.
