Bigworld, Thanks. The CAT chart setup does look interesting. It had a strong breakout recently, and then more follow through today, so looks promising.

I guess Rinear is a shorter term trader, but CAT also looks interesting longer term. As Dew points out, CAT should be a big beneficiary of the mining boom associated with the EV / 'electric everything' paradigm. The world will reportedly need hundreds of new mines, which should keep CAT very busy :o)

Btw, based on the current chart setup for the DJIA, it could be creeping closer to a breakout. It outperformed the S+P 500 and Nasdaq during the bear market (went down less), and has been lagging lately, but if it can manage to get to 34,000 or a little more, it will have formed a bullish inverted head + shoulders formation over the last 6 mos. Doesn't necessarily mean it will break out higher from there, but the chart setup could attract some buying interest from Wall St, depending upon the tone of the overall market. Fwiw, I'd be leery about shorting, based on the chart and the potential for a near/mid term relief rally in the weeks following the Fed meeting. Just a guess though :o)
