I did not like the reverse split myself but Kent may have been forced to do this to comply with the NASDAQ. He could have also done this to stop the unrelenting shorting. It is one thing to cover a .30 cent / share stock than to cover a stock at 2.40 a share not only because of the increased cost per share but also because of the lack of total shares. Everyone on this board is holding their shares further contributing to the lack of shares. This is going to take some time to sort out for those 4.5 million shorted shares (# before the split). I think down the road we will see a forward split. Also more institutions can justify buying stock over $1.00 or 2.00 vrs. .30. I thought at first the shorts would just push this down again but I have changed my mind for the above reasons.
