on a day the Yanks absolutely needed a win---a day the big guy went on the IL before the Rays series--a day Loaisiga was announced to need surgery and will be gone until Aug/Sept--a day German was absolutely filthy---and on a day Clay Holmes continued to be horrible...

oh yeah, and on a day we once again failed to score 3 runs
