yeah, for me it was really school. I just loved to be there as much as I loved to hit the park and play ball.

I made excuses to go early and stay late. I had to walk my sis to her school after I went to the junior high so she got a taste of it but didn't really get it at that time.

She would always walk home with friends from the block but mornings were always ours. Picking out our dinner menu and shit lol and making sure her dumb ass got there safe.

I still wonder how she scored the Doctorate when I couldn't even throw a bone. I'm just glad we're a happy tiny family unit now with her happily married to a nutty guy like her and mom living down the street being the crotchety old west side Chicago woman she can be. As long as they are content, then so am I.

Joy sometimes comes to Mudville. It just takes little bit of care.
