ms. tate, in my neck of the woods, bat and bar mitzvas have gotten out of control. usually, the kids all gather at school where they are picked up in luxury motor coaches and then chauffered to the event. 6 buses are not uncommon. last spring, my daughter attended one where the family rented u.s. cellular field. (white sox park) they had the run of the place. skyboxes, 2 bands, and field access. it's out of control. they could just take all that money and give it to me. lol.
