Amarin could get treble damages for the resulting lost revenue from the infringement, and injunctive relief ordering anything from the generics being forced to alter their label, or even pulling generic V from the market (I am not saying this will happen, but there are a range of outcomes depending upon many variables). Amarin can also then take such a positive decision, shove it in the insurance companies' face, and advise them that they will be sued for aiding & abetting infringement. This is a big case with a lot of upside for Amarin if it goes well.
