It would appear the stars are aligning for a significant reduction in economic activity. Unfortunately inflation will remain stubbornly high even as the economy decelerates. Stagflation ?? Probably....and the future conundrum is how to reverse the flagging productivity in the workplace. Good luck with that, it appears that work/life balance is tilted towards life at the expense of work in millennials and Gen Z. As the Baby Boom generations sunsets, the productivity vacuum will expand.
