Perhaps there is - opex is next Friday (1/20) so wondering if the strange topping then dropping behavior is related. Nothing revealed on the CC should have moved it up 50%, so odd action.
Today someone paid 45 cents for 35,000 shares of the 30 strikes, which expire in 6 trading days and are substantially out of money. This buy done despite the rush for the exits since 30's were breached in short squeeze. Someone expects the elephant to roll over very soon, beats me why and the probability. Based on recent action it might be foolish to dismiss
