To answer your question as to how much I have used it: my daughter fought with cystic acne for several years. I absolutely did not want her to go on Acutane because of the side effects. She tried proactive with minimal success and it was very expensive. I started with the original formula that could be purchased on amazon. It worked well but stained yellowish from the iodine and when treating your face, that can be tricky to use and still go in public. We have used the Ultra for several months now and it does work well and no staining which is huge. Hope that answers your question.
