No, it's not. As thirdcoast mentioned with the Devon agreement, based on their significant compression/ability to push that gas, Delfin may not need to even build the onshore facility.
The LADEQ told me that Delfin had told them a few months ago not to push their renewal authorization given LADEQ's backlog and limited resources. Renewal is not an issue based on what they told me. That led thirdcoast to suggest that Delfin might not need to build its own compressor/pipeline facility.
Lots of theories on why the delay but basically, lots of moving parts to bring together. You should know that this is how Delfin has always operated as a privately held company. They only offer up bits and pieces of information when it serves their purpose. If not, then crickets, like now after the 3rd or 4th set of FID representations over the past 5 years.
