I get a kick out of the names people use when addressing someone whose name they have forgotten. I'm pretty good remembering names, but lots of people aren't.

So lots of "Dude" "Bro" "My Man" "Champ" "Captain" and as BnB pointed out "Boss.".

Then again, I just got off the phone with a guy whose actual birth name is "Ace."

As in..."How's it goin' Ace?"

I have a vendor where one of the reps is named Baby Lyn.

As in..."How you feelin', Baby?"
