WAY too many drivers don't care if they spray pedestrians with dirty water.

LOL not proud of it but we used to make a sport out of it when we were teens. We called it the 'super squishy' game and used to tally up our victims. There used to be huge puddles on the 2 blocks where people who took the bus had to walk down to get to our high school. Most of the underclassmen who didn't drive either walked the long way or came in sopping wet, getting hit two or three times on the same stretch of road.

We would also target bus stops and other random spots themselves and got bonus points for hitting any group over 5 people at once so the occasional pedestrian would get stuck in the melee. You had to have a passenger to keep your tally and be your witness and the winner of the day would get a free ice cream sandwich from the cafeteria, paid for by the other contestants. Our Ice cream sandwiches were really good too. Two jumbo chocolate chip cookies with your choice of fresh scooped ice cream in between. My favorite was the mint chip but sometimes I went for the strawberry.

It's not anything we invented though. I was a victim of it myself more than once before I got my car.
