Nat..Scenario_ Walmart..is..paid..90..days..after..scan_ and..at beginning... assuming they will have test stores..with new products. Asumimg a manager of a store will decide if he wants to have the shelf space kept or if slow moving sales then discount it out..
That's not unexpected..or surprising if experienced in retail

As far as a Quarterly report to show the revenue received in the quarter it is received.
Actually in other words there is stock shipped to sell at Walmart
that will be ..similar.. to wording that could be used to describe
a consignment situation

Until its register scanned then the wait period starts to pay.
And
This will show up as earnings when the co .. gets paid for the merchandise.. they make , distribute and ship to stores .
This makes it tougher for some start up companies to sell to Walmart .

There Is infm online about selling . . to Walmart
To research this and , they had in the past it online for companies wanting to sell to them..and if not found online ..the HQ has a tel #.

As any big box retailer,,
Walmart . distribution center ships and it arrives at a Walmart and it gets onto the designated shelf space. that is set by corp the store manager from the start will watch sales.. of a new product
to see how it goes .
Its similar in any size retail store. . Stocking products that sell.. and make the shelf space profitable which is left to the store manager
to decide.

The payment to the mfg will be received when it's done with .. there processing plan to pay.
Hopefully the product sells well in the store its in.
If it doesn't move they discount it..
