Nope, it is not approved here due to questions about safety, and efficacy.

It's mostly about safety. You may recall a few years ago, all of the media attention on Cox-2 inhibitors being implicated in significant cardiac events. Vioxx from Merck was the main one in the news. In the end, only one, Celebrex, survived.
