Good post....Biden is doing a good job, at least in comparison.... But he is not an historic president for the times.......The base still wags him, probably more that he would like....I find him a decent and honest man, by far not the crook who held the office before him...

Teachers are in crisis, police forces, nurses, railway workers (nearly went on strike) civil servants...Truck driver turn over......The people that stock your groceries, farmers....Its not just rural America, those people are all around us and they are the very fabric of society itself.... In fact, society will fail without them and you can single some of them out and chaos would in sue shortly after they stopped doing the right thing everyday...
Dems of old represented them, they didn't take corporate money,,,big business against the workers....
Corporate greed changed all that, changed the Democratic party..taking peoples livelihoods for bigger profits and bonuses...Making super powers of Communist countries like China....Creating wealth inequity that surpasses the days of Carnage, Rockefeller and Morgan.... We have created Ugly Americans that support this change then blame and mock the workers....
No, that's not the America of old, the social contract has been broken and its not sustainable for the future as we are finding out......Cake is not the answer, so far that's all that's been offered and that trade off has devastating consequences that people like yourself are just beginning to see, even if its only in the political sense but others have lived and are living today....
