Even in the next election, I do not see many good politicians on the horizon, who are ready to get things done.
President Biden is doing a great job, he is performing because of the experience he has gained over the decades. Being a politician is more than a punch line for some. It is a true art of working with other politicians and getting something done.
We all watched when an inexperienced politician tried to change how Washington D C works. He failed miserably, labeling Washington DC as a cesspool might be fine for a quick headline, but then trying to get something done is another.
Corporations are not the great innovators we all think they are, there have been so many failures in business that the list is endless. The motivation was pure greed, and love of money. Look no farther than out current Crypto destruction. Even Elon Mush is not immune to blowing things up in Capitalism.
America works because most American's actually like bitching at everything, knowing that it is a great release of frustration in just living in this country. The founding fathers thought this constant tug of war, and even down right battle for the soul of the nation just might be the answer to keep a civilization from turning on itself.
It has worked in my lifetime, so I have grown to accept it with its faults. It is kind of like a relationship, sure it is not perfect, but who the hell wants perfection.
Life is about taking hold of yourself and getting things done, kind of like a good politician.
