I'll take a quick stab at it, current shorts as of this morning are 19.5 Million, when they start to cover is where it gets interesting because the days to cover is over 1 month. Many were paying 45% interest that adds up quick now that is down to next to nothing.

As for folks thinking that some kind of timeline was pushed back, um no, not at all. They are looking for a partner to pole the entire wafer they didn't say they could not do it. Read it again. They will farm out that process lightwave does not need to do the back end stuff either. That is GREAT, GREAT NEWS.
I take that comment as OK we have the front end done (multiple PDK's not 1 or 2 like some of you think) , (probably adjusting moving them closer and closer together so they can get a thousand on a wafer), remember that 120 of Lightwaves modulators 120 can fit in the space of 8 (slide 28). remember they need to dice them so even 32 that is 4 times the density in that 9mm x 15mm footprint. I get it.

I don't have time to get into it nor can I hold hands, it is just the market guys, end of year, many moving parts. Look if it makes you nervous then sell, I'm not, I've been through this probably 50 times.

Shorts are up to 19.5 million, institutions need 50% of this company, Lightwave may even be selling a few from the shelf for end of year and new hires etc. I've been here since everyone would have to get out their checkbooks if they made a move. When they make a move up it will go.

Folks wouldn't be here trying to scare you if they were not in trouble, the clock is ticking, a deal will happen and somehow the shorts need to cover 19.5 million shares, would I like to see a buyout offer for 9 bucks, heck yes because this would shoot to 20, then there would be another. Stop looking and reading all the junk post you will just get depressed.
