That's a great analogy SS, I made the same mistake, looking right at the monitor when AMZN was $80, then $100, then $400 (pre split prices) thinking who would be crazy enough to pay that price per share for a company that is loosing money and unprofitable? Surely not me, umhhh huge mistake on my part as I made myself sick watching it go to $2k ish... I did the same with Tesla, listening to famed short seller Jim Chano's who lost his azzz saying Tesla was going to zero! Umm WRONG! This time the pain was doubled watching price go to $4k ish (pre split). Point is do your own DD, believe in your instincts and let no one influence your investing decisions.
