Someone posted that an NDA filing would lift $AVXL.

Today one of my other biotech investments filed an NDA that in my view is very likely to gain approval. Guess what the share price went down, not a lot but still down.

Why?

Likely because now investors knows it will be 6 months before we hear from the FDA still with a risk that either the NDA is not accepted without some change or additional information, a CLR or the date for a PDUFA.

Even if, as I hope and expect, the PDUFA date is set there is no guarantee that the vote is on balance positive or if the FDA in their determination will follow a positive vote.

Plenty time for the stock to linger and investors and traders to consider their entry risk while the funds are allocated elsewhere.
