seems like a weird position to take. Is she an elected official or appointed?

I know people who have lost family members and even personal acquaintances from the covid, all unvaccinated. Nobody I've ever heard of that suddenly had health issues from getting the shot(s). I've had five shots and I feel no different. I'm ready to start toning it down though. I had a rougher time with my shingles vaccine than I did with the covid ones but I won't break out in suffering skin rash anytime soon.

I'm still procrastinating over the flu shot. Never had one and I'm mostly outdoors nowadays, so unless the chimps have it, I think I'm OK.
