What makes you think the details were not to be made public? I would imagine Amarin is negotiating terms that very much call for them to be public. That's the whole point. So both sides can say how Health Net's customers will be handled regarding Vascepa in the future. Health Net will say they acknowledge no wrongdoing, but they've changed their policies regarding Vascepa for the good of their customers. And Amarin can wave the deal in front of other insurance companies that are not playing fair and say: "Do you want us to sue your company next?"
