As it turns out you are exactly right.

The management group has become enriched in spite of their performance and in spite of the stock price.

They have no incentive to change anything.

At this point I would say there is not much that could be done anyway to salvage this listing ship.

The EU looks to be like dominoes. Others may follow suit based on similar reasoning.
