here I was thinking Biel is a penny stock

Well, that is where you are wrong. BIEL is a sub, sub-penny stock. Making a point out of a one tick increase with low volume is questionable. I understand that with high volume, stocks in the trips can generate large percentage changes. After all, 0.0001 to 0.0002 is a 100% gain.

But in our case today, that one tick movement amounted to $1000. Not exactly worth crowing about.
