so, ron gets to post his adventurous ideas on the message board with no authentication, and has a legion of faithful followers?.....I know ron has me on ignore, and does not read my posts, so I will answer for him.......he has no proof that Judge Collier awarded WMI 300 billion in damage claims against anybody....the fact is Rosen went on record as saying the Litigating Trust of the WMIL-T failed to pursue in court WMI assets that were illegally taken from them, as the cost of litigating would eat up assets of the estate in time and attorney fees... in addition, JPM threatened WMI with a 27 billion dollar countersuit if they went ahead and sued JPM....what ron is referring to is a lot of preliminary stuff that went back and forth pre Global Settlement, which ended up nowhere....here is the fact.... under the terms of the Global Settlement Agreement, WMI settled all outstanding claims for 6.5 billion dollars, in return for releasing both JPM, and the FDIC for taking WAMU...., else, WMI would have been embroiled for years in litigation against JPM and the FDIC had they not signed the agreement....JPM got 600 million to release claims for bogus MBS putbacks, and related stuff.....FDIC-R got released for their taking of WAMU... so all cross claims were released against each other, and voila ! , we got the GSA deal done, and the judge signed off on it...
