The fact is, people could have done the same thing to any of Dr. Stupp’s papers, I am sure. But it was not seen as collegial. In the context where it is women, I think these men cannot help themselves but try to interject themselves, claim greater expertise and rain on the parade to suggest that they know better and are still the top gorilla in the jungle.
