I spent a summer sitting across the hallway of a secretary that screened potential new cases for a huge plaintiff firm. 90% of the potential cases are never even passed along to the attorneys to review. Then, the attorneys would decline most of the cases that were passed along to them. Everyone that calls think they have a slam dunk case....until they can't find an attorney to represent them on the 'easy money'.
