The power in the 1's and 0's rolling off of the silicon contains enough voltage that Lightwaves polymer can embed that data directly into the laser, down the waveguide and up the grating coupler without the need for the power hungry driver required by Silicon Photonics. Punkin pointed out a 5 percent power requirement for them that is ton of dough and that alone will make Lightwaves Polymer worth BooKoo bucks.
