IMO, auditor resigned because he was spooked by our old auditor who told him we were under SEC investigation. Of course this is no secret, since the suspension was a public statement and that was the first thing I told him when we engaged him. It became apparent a few months into our engagement that he may not have been the best choice, but we were already in bed with him and Gunther and I did all we could to work with him. Later we noticed he hadn't done too many audits, there was miscommunication towards the end, we wasted precious time and money on him.
Our problems are solved by making ViewScans asap, demand couldn't be better. Our goal is to finish this month and year on the right foot, going into next year.
