I agree with your assessment to a good extent. There will be folks ready to pull out without news and followup. Signs have pointed to shorts looking to borrow shares suggesting an assumption that they feel no followup is forthcoming just as several on this board have already stated that nothing big until next Q or two. The only good thing about this time is that the company is not saying anything to excite investors before this event like happened May 10th.
The hope to have the manufacturing certification by year end was not corrected in the recent 10Q so that hope has not been definitively erased or an update would have been needed with it. So the price now generally reflects lowered expectations already hence a massive sell off is not likely but with year end selling for tax purposes being delayed somewhat by this conference, the obvious time for this correction would be after the conference if no followup or significant precursor. On the other hand, significant news followed by an ASM announcement and ASM scheduled by December 16th is still possible though becoming more remote if precursor news doesn’t come first. The next 10 days will be a big tell. Best wishes.
