RMB, I don’t know what AMRN is doing, planning on doing, or when they plan on doing it to defend scripts and combat growing infringement. I’m not even sure if they know because they don’t communicate a clear plan. I don’t pretend to know more than AMRN managent/BOD about when to launch an AG or how to best deal with these problems. An AG now makes sense to me although I have one concern about launching an AG now. My concern is that launching an AG essentially wipes out the ability to differentiate a marine script from a REDUCEIT script. It could mean we compete with all generics for all scripts. As long as we dominate supply and generics remain restricted, it’s no problem
Hopefully AMRN is executing a well thought out strategic plan to maintain and grow scripts in the US. It could include a new formulation, a combo pill or an AG. It’s also possible that AMRN has other deals in the works that don’t allow for an AG presently. I’d love to hear their reasons for not launching an AG now and what would be the trigger to make them do so. Not knowing is certainly frustrating.
