CAT's main customers in most of those sectors are funded by the spending of governments. Not real money as far as the economy goes.
I do not understand what you mean on two counts. First, CAT’s customers don’t strike me as being more government dependent than the customers of other multinational industrial companies. Second, government money is just as “real” as any other money flowing through the economy.
