That's bloody stupid of them. But that's par for the course.

They should be releasing data ASAP. Should have been released yesterday at the latest, because lord knows the company needs it. What a spectacular failure on the part of management, yet again, and they hide it deep in the filings.

Also, mitigate is NOT for CV risk reduction readings, it just involves people with CV. In fact, there isn't even a secondary outcome that involves CV risk reduction, it is focused on Upper Respiratory Infections. CV is only mentioned in the "other outcomes" section. If it works, the data should be out now so it can be used. If it doesn't work, the data should be out now and stop wasting our time.

The MITIGATE Study has been designed to evaluate the real-world clinical effectiveness of pre-treatment with icosapent ethyl (IPE), also known as Vascepa®, compared to usual standard of care to prevent and reduce the sequelae of laboratory-confirmed viral upper respiratory infection (URI)-related (i.e., COVID-19, influenza, and other known viral respiratory pathogens) morbidity and mortality in a high-risk cohort of adults with established atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD).
