Sorry, I don't entirely agree. birder was incorrect on 75% of what he/she claimed, I came back and commented on it, then another member actually did more work and basically proved what I was writing. When birder espoused the shittypants wind farm 'massive killing of birds' nonsense that's when I responded.
When a person doesn't try to answer but comes back with basically 'I'm going to leave and the rest of the board sucks too" defense that's bullshit. He/she has an issue with me that's fine, but to say everyone else on this board is like me and you all have to suffer is a sign of deflection.
I'm not even defending wind farms.
I live in that section of the country, I've been to city meetings concerning wind farms and have an intimate dealings with regulations concerning safety operations due to an outside company not dealing quite up and up with installations and citizen voting on proposals. I only time I've ever seen a lack of lights is on a rare dense wind farm of rectangular acreage where the perimeter was lit. On farm land spread out, they must have illumination at night.
If this member has an issue with me, let them come and handle it themselves. Throwing the rest of the board into when no one had anything to do with my direct responses to that member is trying to spread guilt when there is none. It isn't fair to the other members for that member to blame anyone but me.
