Case is in limbo due to my competency in question. Case cannot move forward in Eddie's lawsuit. Judge said plaintiff must pay in full for all evaluations and a guardian for me if they wish to move forward and proceed. Judge consulted with chief probate judge and head of guardianships and he said because I reside in Florida this is a matter for a Florida probate court to decide in mental health court. Judge also stated she cannot move forward due to multiple ADA complications at hand. In other words nobody wins but my lien remains for now because my past guardian approved of the lien. Court was yesterday. Eddie looked in complete shock. I don't think he can afford anymore bills in this case which means his lawsuit will hopefully be dismissed shortly and my lien will remain. Judge also said Eddie cannot sue me and I cannot sue him due to my competency being in limbo.
