if GOV wants to settle by saying the entire SP LP amount is paid and it is now zero ---- as a first step to ending conservatorship --- v paying damages
someone tell me how that is not a HUGE win for plaintiffs - equity holders??
Exactly - that's what I'm saying. If we are able to win damages - and boy, is that a big IF - in the end, I would not expect to get any direct payment. One the other hand, any action the Government takes towards settling this - especially toward wrapping up the conservatorship - could have an even better result for the stockholders.
